    Angry Contacting Voice Service

    I've recently installed C3 and created an account. Upon logging in, the program is stuck at "Contacting Voice Service". I don't get the "timed out - retrying" message like others do. It's just simply stuck, even though the program is still responding and can be closed. I've tried port forwarding all ports, tweaking firewall, I just don't know what the problem is. Help. I have attached my log for information but have omitted some of the initial lines due to the upload file size limitation. Let me know if you need it.

    So the log seems to show that the application was running for ~9 seconds, without an attempt to log in... some of your previous sessions appear to be a bit longer, and do try to log in, but it looks like initialization takes a bit longer than expected on your system. Can you provide us a little more information on what else is running, and system information?

    How exactly do I find out what else is running? I could go on task manager and list all the programs, but is that what you're looking for? As for the system information, I have attached a link (file size is over 3 mb and I dont know what to exclude from the file).https://www.mediafire.com/?7hb220ya89d443m

    As for what I can see running on the bottom right, it's pretty much my antivirus, steam, teamspeak, nvidia, intel and an audio control panel. I dont like to keep many applications open since that would make me lag while playing games.

    What's in the system tray and active in the taskbar is good enough - we'll try to recreate the setup here and see if we can replicate the issue. If it is a lagging initialization problem, it _might_ help to wait for 10-15 seconds before trying to log in... let us know if this works, though I'm not yet certain it will.

    Since application logs can be a bit large, feel free to start a support ticket via email as well, by sending it to c3-issues at(@) vivox dot(.) com
