    Static on mic in channel

    Hey guys,

I'm posting on behalf of a friend (username: random joseph). I'm posting it instead of him because it's what we hear, not him. He has a distinct static issue on C3. Even while not saying anything at all, there's static clicking and disruption. He's checked his mic settings and they look good. On other VOIP programs, this static does not exist. We know that it's him because if we mute him, it goes away.

He's using a Logitech G900. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi tuanhuylink -
The problem is most likely that his headset and C3s noise cancellation / audio detection are working against each other, causing odd clicking and popping. Disabling one or the other, or minimizing one or the other, may help. In C3, this would be unchecking the automatic handling in Audio Settings, and turning the noise floor down to the minimum, while increasing the sensitivity. While this may not fully solve the problem, it should help a bit.
